The Mooring

Concept painting - as most of my time these days has been consumed by client work - I realized I had been neglecting to progress any personal work, so this is a mostly conceptual painting that started with simple shape study, trying to have some strong triangular foreground element, which plays off some triangular mid groud roof lines.....and to give me an excuse to practice experiment in landscape.
